ECS Urban Ecostewards – June 2015

garlicmustardECS Urban Ecostewards will meet twice in June! The long winter has given the invasive plant species an edge this year. Japanese knotweed, goutweed, and garlic mustard are in unfortunate abundance this season. Help keep native diversity in Frick Park, get some exercise, and learn what is going on in our parks. We offer two dates because it is all hands on deck, knotweed ninjas!

Saturday, June 13th, 11 am – 1 pm
Sunday, June 14th, 11 am – 1 pm

We meet at the parking lot off Braddock Avenue behind the tennis courts. Tools, gloves, and instructions will be provided. Bring your own water. Rustic footwear is advised.

Questions can be directed to Ilona, 412-726-5969, text or voice.
