Introducing the PCO’s first ever pie fundraiser! We are selling four varieties of pies from The Bakery Society Pittsburgh: apple, pumpkin, cherry, and chocolate cream. You can also choose to buy a pie to donate to an ECS classroom for this year’s Harvest Feast.
The deadline for ordering is November 9, 2018.
Pick-up date is November 19, 2018 — just in time for Thanksgiving! All pies must be picked up between 3:30 and 6:00pm at the Upper School on Monday, November 19.
We need a few volunteers to help with pick-up and sorting. Sign up here.
Buy a Pie:
Sorry, the deadline for buying a pie has passed.
Donate a Pie:
The traditional Harvest Feast at ECS will be taking place on November 20. Buy an extra pie to donate directly to the classroom celebrations. Our goal is 3-4 pies per classroom — about 90 pies! You will not need to pick this up or deliver it to the classroom. (We will NOT be doing the Sara Lee pies again this year.) Thank you for your donation!
UPDATE: We reached our donation goal! THANK YOU to all who donated to make sure that every ECS student has the opportunity to enjoy locally baked pie for Harvest Feast.

TBSP’s mission is to support and advance a sustainable baking and business community through revitalization, training, and accessibility.
The Bakery Society Pittsburgh (TBSP) is the region’s first and only bakery incubator. Powered by Economic Development South and the Hillman Foundation, they launched in Spring 2018 to propel emerging bakers into successful careers. Whether a part of TBSP’s incubator program or community kitchen, bakers have the opportunity to elevate their craft and themselves as brands. And though based in Mt. Oliver Borough, The Bakery Society of Pittsburgh inspires bakers to give something sweet back to their community—wherever it is.
