Math Class Becomes a Makerspace – Kickstarter

makerspace1ECS is partnering with the Children’s Museum to transform our math curriculum for our middle schoolers through a project called Food Justice for Pittsburgh. Our students will investigate why nearly half of people living in Pittsburgh’s communities struggle to get fresh food. They will use math skills to discover, experiment, prototype, and design real-world solutions for the community.

Support our Kickstarter to help us to redesign our math classrooms into makerspaces where our students will work collaboratively to prototype and build. You will put the tools and materials into our students’ hands to make their solutions come to life. Learn more about the project and how to donate here.
